On 16th November 2021, NGPOD presented at the launch of the TriTech Institute, part of the Hywel Dda Health Board in Wales.
The presentation included;
Historical attempts to improve nasogastric tube (NGT) safety
Issues with current methods of NGT placement
How NGPOD overcomes many of the problems associated with existing processes and;
improves patient safety
reduces delays to treatment
reduces the costs and resources required.
